1. Scope and Aims of the Journal
The Scientific Professional Journal of Law and Ethics in Practice is dedicated to advancing the interdisciplinary fields of law and ethics, offering a platform for high-quality, peer-reviewed research. The journal welcomes contributions that explore the theoretical and practical aspects of law, legal systems, ethical considerations in legal practice, and the relationship between law and societal norms. Our aim is to publish original, rigorous work that contributes to the ongoing discussions surrounding legal theory, legal practices, ethical challenges, and policy reforms. The journal encompasses a broad range of topics, including but not limited to constitutional law, human rights, corporate law, bioethics, environmental law, legal ethics, legal philosophy, and the ethical dilemmas faced by legal professionals in contemporary society. We seek to highlight the dynamic relationship between legal frameworks and ethical values, offering scholars, practitioners, and policymakers new perspectives on pressing issues in law and ethics.
2. Types of Articles Accepted and Word Limits
The Scientific Professional Journal of Law and Ethics in Practice publishes a variety of article types, each contributing uniquely to the field of law and ethics. The following types of submissions are welcome, along with specific word limits for each:

Short Communications: Short communications are concise reports that highlight new ideas, emerging issues, or significant developments in law and ethics. These pieces are typically shorter than research articles but should still provide meaningful contributions to the field. The word limit for short communications is 1,500-2,500 words.

Letters to the Editor: These are short pieces that allow for critical dialogue and commentary on previously published articles or emerging trends in law and ethics. The word limit for letters to the editor is 750-1,500 words.
3. Submission Process
Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system, accessible via Submissions link, sent via email will not be accepted for initial consideration. Upon submission, each manuscript undergoes an initial screening by the editorial team to ensure it falls within the scope of the journal and meets our submission criteria. If the manuscript passes the initial screening, it is forwarded for peer review. Peer review is a crucial aspect of the journal’s quality control process, where experts in the field assess the manuscript's academic rigor, methodology, and contribution to the field of law and ethics. Authors will receive feedback from at least two independent reviewers, and they may be asked to revise their manuscripts based on the reviewers’ comments. After the revisions, the editorial team will make a final decision regarding the manuscript’s acceptance, rejection, or further revisions.
4. Manuscript Formatting
To facilitate a smooth review and publication process, authors must adhere to the following formatting guidelines:
- Document Type: Submissions should be in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx). PDF files are not accepted for initial submissions.
- Font: Manuscripts should be typed in Times New Roman, 12-point font.
- Margins: Use 1-inch (2.5 cm) margins on all sides.
- Line Spacing: The manuscript should be single - spaced, including references, figure captions, and tables.
- Page Numbers: Page numbers should appear in the footer of each page in right side.
- Title Page: The title page must include the full title of the manuscript, author names, their affiliations, and the corresponding author’s contact information (email address and postal address).
- Abstract: Provide an abstract of 150-250 words that summarizes the article's purpose, methodology, key findings, and conclusion.
- Keywords: Include 4-6 keywords that describe the focus of your manuscript. These keywords will help researchers find your article through search engines and databases.
- Main Text: The manuscript should be divided into the following sections, where applicable:
- Introduction: An introduction to the topic, stating the research question or ethical dilemma and outlining the purpose of the study.
- Materials and Methods: A detailed explanation of the methods used in your research or analysis.
- Results: The findings of your research or case study.
- Discussion: An interpretation of the results and their implications in the context of law and ethics.
- Conclusion: A summary of your findings and their potential impact on legal practice or ethical theory.
5. References Formatting
Accurate and complete citations are essential for the integrity of academic publishing. 6. Figures and Tables
Figures and tables should complement the manuscript and be presented clearly. Each figure must be submitted as a separate high-resolution file in one of the following formats: JPG, TIFF, PNG, or EPS. Figures should be at least 300 dpi to ensure clarity when printed. Each table and figure must be numbered consecutively (e.g., Figure 1, Table 1). Captions for figures and tables should be concise yet descriptive, ensuring that readers can understand the content without referring to the main text. Place figures and tables at the end of the manuscript file or upload them as separate files. Authors should reference each figure and table in the text, indicating where it should appear.
7. Ethical Guidelines
Ethics is a fundamental aspect of the work published in Scientific Professional Journal of Law and Ethics in Practice. Authors must ensure their research and writing adhere to the highest ethical standards. Manuscripts must be original, not previously published or under consideration elsewhere. Plagiarism, self-plagiarism, and falsification of data are strictly prohibited. If the manuscript involves human subjects or animals, it must comply with ethical standards, and appropriate consent and ethical review board approvals must be obtained. Authors are free to share their articles through personal or institutional websites, subject to proper citation. The journal publishes under Creative Commons License/another form of licensing, ensuring that others can share and reuse the work with appropriate attribution. Authors should also ensure they have obtained permission for any copyrighted material used in their manuscript (such as figures, tables, or text) and provide the necessary permissions with the submission.
9. Revisions and Proofs
If your manuscript is accepted, you will receive a PDF proof of your article. This is your final opportunity to review your work before publication. Proofreading is essential, and you should carefully check for any typographical errors or formatting issues. Please ensure that all corrections are submitted in a timely manner. Revisions at this stage are typically limited to minor changes, and no major structural modifications will be accepted. Upon approval of the proof, your article will be published in the next available issue of the journal. If further revisions are needed during the review process, the editorial team will notify you.
10. Submission Fees
The Scientific Professional Journal of Law and Ethics in Practice does not charge any submission fees or article processing charges (APCs). Authors are not required to pay any fees for submitting or publishing their articles.
